There are some rumors floating around the web that Pentax will announced the much sought after follow-up to the K10D at a press conference on January 24, 2008 - just in time for PMA... Possible kit lens by NASA (photo by Nathan Baer)
Rumors for now - time will tell, but such changes are looking reasonable . When there’s more, I’ll keep you posted. If you gotta sift through every whisper now, check out 1001 Noisy Cameras’ recent post. Out of then, you may look on unofficial review of Samsung GX-20: in fact, this is a K20D twin. Finally, a photo: A closer look at this shot shows a man with a unidentified Pentax around the neck…It could be a K100D or K10D, but notice the color of the shutter button...Best guess is this is the K200D out in the wild…Some of the shots feature some very high ISO shots—ISO 6400, there’s some noise there for sure, but again this is beta firmware. More here. In addition, it would appear by the pictures that Pentax did more than just rent out a conference room at the Dubai Holiday Inn. The journalists are driving around in 4×4’s, and sipping tea, sandboarding, camel back riding, and shooting the latest Pentax cameras. Not a bad days work.
